Heavy Duty series leather dog collars are compact , firm but not very stiff. Leather edges are skived , polished and dyed for a more elegant luxury look. This process makes the collar soft around your dog’s neck and because we want to avoid metal hardware from the rivets coming in contact with your dog’s skin we have put them between the leather layers . Same thing applies for the stainless steel buckle , we have saddle stitched it so no metal is in contact with your dog’s neck. These handmade leather dog collars also have soft padding which is made from Italian leather and foam and are suitable for big and strong dogs who tend to pull your arm out in the field .
