Returns & Refunds Policy

At leatherforpets.com, we take pride in the craftsmanship of our handmade products. Because most of our items are custom-made to your specific requirements, please review our policy regarding returns and refunds.

1. Custom and Personalized Orders

According to EU Consumer Protection Law (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16, point c), the right of withdrawal (the right to cancel or return an order within 14 days) does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized.

Since our leather collars and accessories are handcrafted specifically for your pet based on your chosen size, color, and design:

  • We do not accept returns or exchanges for custom-made items.

  • We do not offer refunds if the customer provides incorrect measurements or changes their mind after the production has started.

2. Sizing and Measurements

It is the customer’s responsibility to follow our Sizing Guide and provide accurate measurements before placing an order. If you are unsure about the size, please contact us before purchase. Once a custom item is produced, it cannot be resold, and therefore cannot be returned due to sizing errors made by the customer.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

We stand behind the quality of our leather work. If you receive an item that is genuinely defective or if a mistake was made on our part (e.g., wrong color sent), please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographs of the issue.

  • If a defect is confirmed, we will replace the item or offer a repair at no additional cost.

  • Please note: Natural marks, scars, or slight color variations in the leather are characteristics of authentic, high-quality leather and are not considered defects.
