A legion lion emblem is affixed onto the lead to compliment your big and strong dog . A heavy duty secure hook is also present and wont brake if your strong dog pulls a lot or not .

This is ideal for very big and strong dogs such as neapolitan mastiffs .

Our Wallace leather dog collar for mastiffs with matching leash is one of several mastiff hot sellers handmade collars offered , made from 2 layers of vegetable tanned leather dyed in walnut and black colors as shown and with black Nappa italian leather for the soft padding. It is 2 inches wide ( 5cm ) with one heavy duty buckle and decorated with Celtic knots , a big Crusader’s cross , rivets and gold color spike studs . It is meant for big and strong dogs but it can be customized to any size and color. The one in the picture was made for a Cane Corso .

The leash is made from 2 layers of thick veg tan leather as well , saddle stitched and it is 4cm wide and 1.80m long

Heavy Duty series leather dog collars are compact , firm but not very stiff. Leather edges are skived , polished and dyed for a more elegant luxury look. This process makes the collar soft around your dog’s neck and because we want to avoid metal hardware from the rivets coming in contact with your dog’s skin we have put them between the leather layers . Same thing applies for the stainless steel buckle , we have saddle stitched it so no metal is in contact with your dog’s neck. These handmade leather dog collars also have soft padding which is made from Italian leather and foam and are suitable for big and strong dogs who tend to pull your arm out in the field . These collars are ideal for big and strong dogs such as pitbulls , mastiffs , cane corsos , dobermans , presa canarios , black labradors , bulldogs etc

Care & maintenance

Here at leatherforpets we use only the best vegetable tanned leather from Italy.As this is a natural material there can be minor variations in color or even on the leather itself. These variations are a sign of the leather’s high quality and not blemishes.
If your dog likes being very active in the mud or likes swimming or if the collar gets dirty with use all you have to do is to hand wash it with mild soap in cold water and let it air dry in room temperature.
Also do keep in mind , this is a natural product and it will develop a nice patina which only makes the collar look even better. Our luxury handmade leather collars will last for very long time if properly cared for.

Our over the shoulder leash is actually a 2 pieces leash set. . First part is a regular handmade leather leash featuring a very heavy duty hook and soft padding around the handle . A very thick D ring is attached on the leash allowing you to hook the second part of the set onto the leash.

Second part is what you actually wear on you , long enough so it is very comfortable , and with a second handle to help you control your dog . Very strong and secure over the shoulder leash saddle stitched where it needs stitching for maximum security . The whole set is 100 % handmade and is ideal for dog training , K9 police dogs and for every dog out there who is big and strong .
