The Celtic collar in chocolate brown  is a handmade luxury leather dog collar , made from 2 layers of vegetable tanned leather dyed in chocolate brown  with black Nappa italian leather for the soft padding. It is 2.5 inches wide ( 6cm ) with double buckles and decorated with Celtic knots and Celtic crosses . It is meant for big and strong dogs but it can be customized to any size and color.

Heavy Duty series leather dog collars are compact , firm but not very stiff. Leather edges are skived , polished and dyed for a more elegant luxury look. This process makes the collar soft around your dog’s neck and because we want to avoid metal hardware from the rivets coming in contact with your dog’s skin we have put them between the leather layers . Same thing applies for the stainless steel buckle , we have saddle stitched it so no metal is in contact with your dog’s neck. These handmade leather dog collars also have soft padding which is made from Italian leather and foam and are suitable for big and strong dogs who tend to pull your arm out in the field . These collars are ideal for big and strong dogs such as pitbulls , mastiffs , cane corsos , dobermans , presa canarios , black labradors , bulldogs etc

Care & maintenance

Here at leatherforpets we use only the best vegetable tanned leather from Italy.As this is a natural material there can be minor variations in color or even on the leather itself. These variations are a sign of the leather’s high quality and not blemishes.
If your dog likes being very active in the mud or likes swimming or if the collar gets dirty with use all you have to do is to hand wash it with mild soap in cold water and let it air dry in room temperature.
Also do keep in mind , this is a natural product and it will develop a nice patina which only makes the collar look even better. Our luxury handmade leather collars will last for very long time if properly cared for.
